The big Emgage Action Gala is about to begin!
Almost a year ago, we began this campaign. Many of us didn’t know the role of a Commonwealth’s Attorney. And if you did, it was hard to imagine changing it. Now together, we are bringing criminal justice reform to Fairfax County. We aren’t going to charge for marijuana possession. We aren’t going to hold people in jail because they can’t afford bail. We are going to root out systemic discrimination for people based on who they are, where they come from or the color of their skin. Together we will make Fairfax County a more safe and just place for everyone. Thank you to everyone who helped us get us across the finish line - we did it.
I’m excited to have the support of 15 Virginia Delegates that represent Fairfax County or other parts of Northern Virginia in Richmond! It will be important to have partners in the House of Delegates to bring real reform to the Commonwealth. These tireless advocates for our community know that Steve represents the values of Fairfax and will be a leader on safety and justice. And remember, although these Delegates will have a "D" next to their name on the ballot, local candidates like Steve will not. Help us build these partnerships by picking up a sample ballot before going in to vote, and vote for all 13 Democrats!
